Spring with a Side of Rain

Hey hey!!! 🌸🌼

Ahhh, spring. My favorite season! When I can happily kiss winter goodbye and welcome the blooming blossom trees that look like snow when the petals fall, longer days, walks, and overall more comfortable temperatures. So what happened today before I took these photos?

It rained.

It was just so funny, since I’ve been in such a spring mood, I’m wearing my most spring-like dress, and it POURED.

A rainy Starbucks patio.

It was actually quite fun to watch the storm roll in. Rain is rare here, so it’s a sight to see!!

Some highlights as of lately:

  • I’ve gotten more work for my freelance job (very good news!!!)
  • I had a table set up at Art Hop last Thursday! It was a lot of fun. The weather was warm, it was a relaxing evening downtown, and I had a couple of people buy my homemade cookies and chocolates! πŸͺ🍫
  • I tried the new Iced Golden Ginger Drink at Starbucks, and it’s sooo good. I enjoyed the first one I bought sitting by a pool with my friend at her apartment complex. It was a nice 80 degrees that day!
  • I picked up a new hobby: bird watching. I have binoculars and a huge tree with plenty of birds in it in my backyard, so it’s a fun thing to do on a late afternoon when I have time! Then I try to figure out what kind of birds they are with a little Google searching.
My table at Art Hop! πŸ’•
New spring dresses. I’m so excited to wear them!! πŸ’œ

I love spring!!! πŸŒΈπŸŒΌπŸ’• Can’t you tell?

See you next time!

  1. This is such a happy post, full of color and good news! Congrats on your new freelance work and selling your sweets at Art Hop. Your necklaces look amazing, like little candies themselves! I love all of your dresses, especially the yellow one (with belt!) and your new pink and white floral one. The shot of your new dresses is lovely; I always love staring at my new clothes too and imagining the possibilities. I hope you continue have a wonderful spring and see lots of birds. πŸ™‚
