Space Style

Hello! πŸ’•

My sister and I drove forty-five minutes out of Fresno to a town called Hanford last weekend, which has a Dunkin Donuts. We’ve been here before – last September, in fact! And on a weekend with nothing to do, why not drive forty-five minutes out of town for coffee and donuts? Yes, please!! πŸ©β˜•οΈ

The patio was empty and my sister and I sat out here, enjoying the nice morning and watching the traffic pass by on the busy main street. Don’t you like how my blouse and hair clips match the Dunkin Donuts brand colors? You know I planned it that way, don’t you?

I’m a maple bar/chocolate bar kinda gal… πŸ’•

And here we have even more orange and pink. I really do love orange and pink together…they just seem like they’d be best friends? They go so well together. 😍

My space skirt, which you can find here on Amazon. πŸŒ™ [Unfortunately, this exact one is no longer available but there’s a blue version of it]

Another note about the orange and pink hair accessories: you can see them as flowers up close, but from afar, I like to see them as pink and orange planets orbiting my head.

Next up, on the same topic of space, is another outfit where I was sporting a T-shirt of my favorite space queen, Queen Amidala. I got the shirt in 1999, around the time that Star Wars Episode I premiered in theaters (I was in sixth grade). I’ve always loved every outfit she wore in that film. πŸ’œ

So yeah, those are my favorite outfits from recently. Hope everyone enjoys a safe Fourth of July weekend!πŸ˜ƒ See ya next time!!

  1. I didn’t see any of your posts in my reader for quiet a while so I’m delighted to see you are OK, what am I saying, you are more than OK, you look divine! My favorite destination in Fresno is the underground gardens, I’m sure you’ve heard of it. It’s the life-long work of Baldassare Forestiere who ran away from his home town of Sicily and arrived in America in 1901. For those of you who haven’t been there, I highly recommend it if you are ever in the area πŸ˜‰

      1. I absolutely love Fresno! Especially the Tower District which is hands down one of the liveliest places in town. You can find everything there from arts and entertainment to dining and clubs. Hit the spot at night to catch a show or have a drink with friends, and relax in the day with a cup of coffee at a local cafe 😊

  3. No distance is too far for a doughnut! I love that you wore orange and pink to Dunkin and agree that these colors look great together and are best friends! The space tie-in with your outfit is awesome; the part about your hair clips being planets is really cute. Also, I’m glad to see that Gene joined you. πŸ™‚
