Pumpkin Spicing Things Up; Going to a Pumpkin Patch and Seeing Halloween Kills By Myself (Literally…I was the only person in the theater)

Since it’s October and all, I wanted to take myself on an autumnal date to do something seasonal and festive; I decided to do two things that were both seasonally festive but entirely opposite of each other: 1) take myself to a pumpkin patch and 2) go see a scary movie. The difference is that the first one is cute and second is SCARY.

Let’s start with what I wore to the pumpkin patch, and then some snaps of other spooktacular fall outfits I’ve worn this month!!! ๐Ÿ’—

Pinafore Dress: Amazon // Blouse: H&M // Pumpkin Clips & Bows: Claire’s // Choker: ROMWE
This cute bird sat next to me outside Starbucks!!
Witch Sisters Ring Made by Me!
Pinafore dress: Amazon // Choker: ROMWE // Cat ears: Amazon
Shoes: Dollskill
Bow: SHEIN // Choker: Etsy // Shirt: Etsy // Skirt: Etsy
Ring: Made by me!
Purse: Dollskill [Betsey Johnson]

So I loved all these fun outfits but the Ghostface one was my FAVORITE!!!!!!! It paired so nicely with my new Dollskill shoes and purse! ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’— I also wore that shirt because I was hyped after seeing the new trailer release for Scream coming out in January next year! And a big shoutout to my new strawberry bow from SHEIN. It reminds me of strawberry shortcake!

Lastly, I went to see Halloween Kills… (I’ve never seen any of the Halloween movies, so this was all new to me)!

I had every intention of going alone, but holy freaking cow, I did NOT EXPECT TO BE THE ONLY PERSON IN THE ENTIRE THEATER!!!!!!!!! I went on a Tuesday afternoon, and no one else to be found in the theater besides me! I would have never guessed, and yeah, it brought the whole ‘going by myself’ to a whole other level that was totally terrifying while seeing this particular movie!

I kept looking over my shoulder during the super scary parts, shrouded in darkness, the movie basically only playing for me…DID I DROP SOME POPCORN? YES! (Don’t worry, I picked it up after the movie, I don’t litter!) DID I SCREAM OUT LOUD AT ONE POINT? YES!

As terrifying of a movie as it was…I actually had a spooktacular blast!!!! Happy Halloween month to me (and to you, too)!

Smell ya later!! ๐Ÿ’—

  1. Love this post and your outfits. Especially Ghost face. I can’t believe you’ve never seen any of them before. Those are definitely my favorite horror movie series. Of course some of the movies aren’t that great. Lol. But since you saw this one you should definitely watch the original movie and Halloween 2018. They tie in together. Can you tell I’m a fan? Lol. I’m glad you enjoyed yourself during this season. I know I love it myself.

    1. Thank you so much!!! And that is so cool you are a big fan! I’m honestly only familiar with the Scream franchise as far as horror films go. I heard the original and the 2018 film are really good!! I’m also glad you’re enjoying this season, too!

      1. Well, from the news I’ve read — Manila is now allowing movie houses to open. Though, indoor cinemas are only allowing fully inoculated people to watch. Those who haven’t got the jab can only do so in outdoor settings – with a half-capacity limit.

  2. Your outfits are AMAZING! I love the shoes too!! Iโ€™m going to see Halloween Kills with my family on Saturday, so Iโ€™m excited. I used to go see movies alone all the time before I was married, but I never ended up in a theatre alone! Spooky!

  3. All of your outfits are scary cute!!! My favorite pieces are your yellow jumper, Betsey bag, strawberry bow (yes, it’s totally Strawberry Shortcake!) and your very own Witch Sisters ring (especially against the backdrop of the warty pumpkin, ha ha). I love how you styled your Ghostface tee with the bag and bow; it strikes that perfect balance of dark and Lolita. Speaking of dark, that’s freaky how you ended up being the only one in the theater to watch Halloween Kills!!! I couldn’t have done that; I don’t even watch horror movies from the comfort of my couch. I like how you added levity to that part of the post by making a point of reassuring us that you don’t litter. Finally, the pic of the leaves and berries is just gorgeous; it could be the cover of a card!!! ๐Ÿ™‚
