November is a fun month in my book: the fall foliage fully comes alive where I live (finally!), it’s my birthday month, Thanksgiving comes, and at the end of the month, the anticipatory Christmas magic begins (my favorite holiday…I’m a Christmas gal, through and through!)
As the temperatures have began to drop, I’ve pulled out many a sweater and cardigan – one of them being this bright red sweater and hot pink/navy blue cardigan. And then, as I began looking through my hair accessories, I spotted this heart barrette I had bought last year from The Tote Trove, which paired perfectly with my sweater.
Back when I originally bought it, I wore it as a pin rather than a barrette; at that point, I wasn’t wearing bows or barrettes at the back of my hair like I do now. So I thought, hey! I need to wear it in my hair now! And, it inspired me to go cruising through her Etsy shop and pick out the perfect barrette to wear during this Thanksgiving month. I look forward to getting it in the mail!
And on we go with these two outfits that were the perfect start to November. ❤️

Happy November! Your outfits are so cool, especially your bright red and pink sweaters! I’m so glad that your Tote Trove heart barrette fits right in with your new back-of-the-head accessory look! I just packaged your new fall barrette and am excited to send it to you tomorrow. I also love the close-up shot of your big pink bow, butterfly clip, and red bangle.
