Hi y’all!! 💙
Like the new shoes? These are probably the most unique pair of shoes I own now, and they are really FUN and comfortable…it was hard to find the right outfit to wear them with, though! Thankfully, I had one shirt that kind of matched. 😎
You can find these shoes on Amazon, right here!
Fun fact: these little blue rhinestone hair clips in my hair…I last wore them at my senior prom, 2005. No joke!!! I found them in a drawer the other day and decided to bring ’em out for air.
On Friday, I treated myself to an authentic French crêpe. Doesn’t it look heavenly? It was as delicious as it looks. 😍 I had it at a French café here in town that I go to pretty frequently!
See ya next time!!
Oh my goodness. I can NOT get over how much I love my new jelly flats from Amazon!!!
I ordered two pair…I adore gold and pink. ❤
These shoes are ABSOLUTELY amazing! They are very comfortable and add a pretty shimmer to your feet. I highly recommend them, and they’re very reasonably priced to boot! You can find them here. These take me back to when I was a kid in the 90’s. I had all sorts of jelly sandals and I wore them all the time. 🙂
I wore the gold ones today and paired it with a very bright outfit! My skirt reminds me of a green apple…but notice, I’m wearing a cherry ring. I guess I just love fruit. 😛
On a side note, I really feel the need to mention this because it was THAT GOOD. Haha! On my lunch hour, I went to Whole Foods Market. I was perusing the cold drink section and found this cold brew coffee in a dainty little bottle. People!!! I was blown away by how delicious it was. If you love rich cocoa flavored stuff, I highly recommend trying it if you have a Whole Foods market near you! ❤
I hope you all are having a fantastic week, and a great end to the month! I’m excited for the fall season to arrive. So many fun things to do this time of year, and the change of the weather.
Have a beautiful day! See you next time! ❤
Greetings, earthlings! Who else got to see the solar eclipse?! (Note: I made yet another headband, and those are sunflower buttons, but could easily pass for little suns, no?)
I make it sound like I was in the path of totality. Nope! Still, I saw a change in the sky color and shadows on the ground over the span of an hour before it reached its peak of 75% totality, so I generally enjoyed the experience nonetheless! 🙂
I actually wore this outfit yesterday, but I was probably subconsciously anticipating the solar eclipse. I get really into things…
I saved the best for last…
Are you ready…?
…the pencil shoes are BACK.
As in, I haven’t worn them in like 3 years! I’m not sure why, or maybe I thought they didn’t pair well with my outfits, but I gave them another go and now I’ve fallen in love with them again. I bought them on ModCloth long ago, but they must be popular because they still have them available!
I hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend and your week is starting out nicely! ❤
Happy Saturday, folks!
It’s another great day, and I’m excited that my Jutti flats arrived in the mail yesterday! It was lightning-fast shipping, to say the least. They came all the way from India, and I only ordered them last week on Ebay! I included photos below… of course. 🙂
I’ve been digging around some of my old jewelry boxes and discovered a few little rings I used to wear as a child. I can’t believe how cute they are, and they really do add something in a delicate, cute way. ❤
The shoes are waaaaay prettier in person and went beyond my expectations! They are very, very sparkly, especially when the sun hits them. I assumed the bottoms of the shoe would just be a thin, flat material, but they actually have a sporty grip so you’re not likely to slip! I was pleasantly surprised by this feature.
Iced Mocha from Starbucks…my favorite drink…buy me this and I am happy. 😀
I’m taking it easy this weekend from artistic endeavors! I did a drawing for someone, then finished up a craft project I was paid for, so I can finally take a deep breath and relax (for now). 😛
I hope everyone enjoys their weekend! ❤
Since I was a kid, I have always had a fascination with Jutti flats. I’m really drawn to the traditional ones! From Wikipedia:
“The jutti (Punjabi: ਜੁੱਤੀ) or Punjabi Jutti (Punjabi: ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਜੁੱਤੀ) is a type of footwear common in North India and neighboring regions.”
There’s just something about these shoes that I can’t get enough of. First off, I love flats in general, but these have such a princess-like vibe to them, and the colors and embroidery are just amazing. I’ve wanted to buy a pair of traditional ones for a long time, and I found some on Ebay for $20!!
I know I’m all about colors, but for my first pair, I wanted ones that would go with pretty much anything I wear, so I went with gold. Next time, I’m going to buy pink ones, most likely. These are being shipped to me from India, from an online Indian shoe store on Ebay and they shipped them out in less than 24 hours! Very fast. I’m super excited and will most definitely do a blog post on them when they arrive. ❤
Happy Friday! 🙂
