Hey all!! ❤️
Typically my weekends are pretty quiet, but this past one I did a lot, haha!! So I thought I’d try a different post featuring the highlights of this eventful weekend. 😄
#1 First of all, I finally made a set of CAT HAIR CLIPS. For some reason I have always wanted cat hair clips, so I went to Joann Fabric and found myself these super thick stickers in the stationary aisle. Glue some alligator clips onto the backs, and there you have it!! Hair clips!

Helpful tip: I pressed the very-sticky-stickers against the palm of my hand a few times to dull out the stickiness (as to not have it stick to my hair, of course!)

#2 Friday morning, I went to the first showing of the film Jojo Rabbit. Now, I had been wanting to see this film, but initially I did not think it would be at a local theater, since it only showed in bigger cities at first. I saw a commercial Thursday morning that it would be in theaters everywhere starting Friday, so I was very excited!

Synopsis: “Jojo is a lonely German boy who discovers that his single mother is hiding a Jewish girl in their attic. Aided only by his imaginary friend – Adolf Hitler – Jojo must confront his blind nationalism as World War II continues to rage on.”
After reading that film critics were divided on their thoughts of it and that it’s a controversial film overall, I still wanted to see it for myself and form my own opinion. I’m drawn to history and I knew this film was set in a very dark time, so I knew it would probably be an emotional one!

Yes – it was emotional indeed, and I had to bite my knuckle a few times to keep from crying my eyes out! Amidst that, it was a dark comedy and the most intriguing of it all is that such a sinister time in history is viewed from the perspective of a 10-year-old boy…who learns himself that love triumphs over hate. ❤️ Overall, I really enjoyed this film and its message!

#3 I drove to Fillmore, CA by myself for a big potluck party hosted by my cousin. This was the longest drive I’ve ever taken by myself (a bit over 3 hours of a drive there, and back). It was a lot of fun, and this was the view from my cousin’s backyard!
A beautiful, Southern California sunset… ❤️

#4 Last but not least, I put my Christmas tree up!!!

eeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Isn’t it cute? I decided on a Disney princess theme this year. I put on some happy Christmas music, and I blissfully decorated. 💕
See ya next time!! I hope you also had a lovely weekend!
