A Doggone Good Time: Starting October Off With Barks, Meows and Monsters 🐈‍⬛💜🐕

When my friend and I decided to take a walk on a beautiful fall afternoon on the first day of October this week, what are the odds that we’d come across two black cats strolling alongside us?! I mean, it couldn’t be a more perfect way to kick off October! 🖤🖤

Another great way to start the month was getting a Monster Cookie Sweet Cream Iced Coffee from Jack in the Box before I went on said walk. It was the perfect thing to sip on while enjoying the perfect autumn day!

To make the week even more awesome, my sister and I went to Target to check out the Halloween aisles, and much to my surprise, I found hair clips in the little girls’ section from the brand Cat & Jack that I simply couldn’t pass up. DOG HAIR CLIPS!!! 💖

So to mix in everything, from spooky Halloween cats to cute dogs, I give you this ensemble! I’m proud to say that I made the big purple bow I’m wearing in the back of my hair! I really love how it turned out, and how it looks with this outfit! 💜

  3. What an awesome way to kick off October! That’s really weird — and cool –about the cat sighting. I smiled when I saw the cartoon monster rising out of your drink. And of course I love all your accessories, especially your handmade purple bow ring. The Polly Pocket ring and Cat & Jack clips are also super cute. Cat & Jack has such fun stuff; kids clothes (etc.) are where it’s at! 🎃💚💜

    1. Thank you so much!! 💜 No worries about catching up – I’m just happy to see a comment from you! And yes, here in central California, we get what we call “hotumn” (lol!) where it’s still warm despite it being October. It tends to get cold in November! I can’t wait for spring now…it’s cold and foggy here in January!
