Rockin’ Rudolph: Getting Into Christmas πŸ–€πŸŽ…πŸ»β€οΈ

Look at that Christmas tree!! πŸ’œ Isn’t it simply gorgeous?

That photo was taken at Coffee Bean, where I enjoyed a delicious Iced Tiramisu Latte yesterday, and as a bonus, got to enjoy the festive Christmas decorations throughout the store. Even the windows had a snowy scene painted on them! β˜ƒοΈ

The latte was sooooo good. And seeing all of the festiveness had me digging through my accessory inventory to see what I had that I could wear to display the Christmas spirit. That’s where Rudolph and Clarice come in!

Rudolph and Clarice hair clips: Etsy / Butterfly and rose hair clips: SHEIN
Skirt: SHEIN / Shoes: Dolls Kill
Purse: Spirit Halloween / Santa ring: RUSS / Bracelets and ring: Thrifted

I gotta say, I totally dug this outfit!!! And to pair with my Smashing Pumpkins top, I’ve been listening to this album of theirs, Earphoria (1994), that finally made its way into my collection. (And can I just say, I absolutely LOVE the album cover!) It’s one that I see as a hidden gem in their discography, as it features gritty live performances and even some songs that never made their way onto any official albums. I’m glad to finally own it!

In conclusion? I’d say the Christmas spirit and rock music can easily coexist into a unique fashion statement! ❀️

      1. I got that. I know Smashing Pumpkins; they are great. I was referring to Michael Jackson’s cover of β€œ Rockin’ Robin” in the early 70s, which was a smashing hit with no pumpkins. I hated the song, but what can I say? I was into Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Iron Butterfly, The Doors, Pink Floyd, etc., in my teens in the 70s. Michael Jackson was still a kid (he was 1.5 months older than I am) and still doing bubblegum pop in his cute kid voice and afro with his brothers, The Jackson 5, when β€œ Rockin’ Robin” was a hit.

  1. I always love hearing about your cozy coffee shop visits, especially around the holidays! The tree is indeed gorgeous, as is your fit. I’m a big fan of the Rudolph story, so I heart your hair clips. Your Monster High bag is very cool too, as is, of course, your bow-bedecked skirt. And I’m so happy you unearthed a new Smashing Pumpkins gem to add to your collection. ‘Tis the season for surprises! πŸŽ„πŸ¦ŒπŸŽ΅
