The DIY frenzy continues!!! And in this post, I created two sort-of themed outfits: the first is a Monster-High-inspired look with bats, spiders, and my actual Monster High purse. The second one is a pink and black ensemble and the theme is…well, pink and black. Yeah!

I’ll show the DIY goodies first!

DIY Project 1: Rose and Butterfly Bracelet 🦋

I really love how this cuff bracelet turned out!

DIY Project 2: Decorating A Beige Purse From Target 👜

A New Day, Target

I’ve had this purse for awhile now! Using some butterfly charms I had on hand, I glued them onto the purse for a whole new look!

DIY Project 3: Decorating A Compact Mirror 🪞💕

Now this little project has a story behind it!

Back in 2011 or 2012-ish, I was towards the end of my college years and a fellow student in my class had a highly-decorated USB drive. Coated in cute little faux food, my interest sparked and I asked her how she did that. She explained that it was a popular trend in the Harajuku scene at the time to decorate all sorts of things with faux sweets and treats!

This was my introduction into the colorful Harajuku world back then, and she even offered to decorate my USB drive. I let her, and sure enough, she brought it back the next day and mine, too, was coated in faux sweets. I still own it!

I continued on loving this type of crafting and would decorate my phone cases in the same style. Fast forward to present day, and I decided to do this again – this time, with my compact mirror! I LOVE HOW IT TURNED OUT!!! 💖

I just had to include this photo of my Cherry Vanilla Olipop I bought at Target. Soooooooo good! I love Olipop; there are so many delicious flavors to choose from. 🍒
