When my best friend invited me to check out an Italian café he’d discovered recently, I was most definitely excited and I knew just what to do for such a fancy occasion: bust out my fraying-but-still-looking-good flower clips from Claire’s I bought around 15 years ago, put a huge rose clip on the back of my head that you can probably see from space, and bring along my customized butterfly purse!!

il Caffè at Enzo’s Table was beyond beautiful! (I wish I had taken a photo of the building itself, but I totally forgot to.) The interior was brightly lit with natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows and I just loved that my totally delicious drink came in a glass with a GLASS STRAW! (I don’t think I’ve ever drank from a glass straw before, so this was super exciting).

I am SUPER HAPPY to report that I added that lace trim to the sleeves of my shirt! I’ve been adding lace trim to some of my short-sleeve shirts lately and it totally changes the look! 🖤 I didn’t need to buy any lace trim either; I used the fabric scraps of a dress I no longer wear and gave it a new life on these sleeves!

I had a great time and wearing my cluster of shiny flower clips made my outfit feel fancier. ✨ It just shows that the smallest details can totally change the overall look of an outfit, and even add a boost of confidence too!

Last but not least, here’s my new Starbucks keychain that my sister gave me as a gift; it’s funny because she also got herself one (but green), and we both customized ours with charms we added – haha! We both have the crafty gene apparently:
